Meet Petra Eperjesi (she/her) – Therapist Intern Supporting You Through Parenthood’s Challenges

Hi, I’m Petra. I’m a therapist intern and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). As part of my graduate training, I am currently completing my clinical internship under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapist.

I provide psychotherapy to individuals navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. As a mother of three—including twins—I bring a deep understanding of the joys and challenges this journey can bring. If you’re experiencing perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression, or distress following a traumatic birth, you’re not alone. I’m here to support you with empathy, care, and professional guidance.

How I Support Clients

In our work together, my goal is not to “fix” anything, but to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard. I strive to help you reflect on your experiences, regain confidence, and reconnect with your inner strength. Together, we’ll identify what’s within your control and explore meaningful steps toward the life you want.

I draw from evidence-informed approaches, including:

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (m-CBT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Brief Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I take a person-centered, feminist approach, with a focus on creating an inclusive, affirming, and non-judgmental space.
