Welcome — I’m Glad You’re Here

I’m a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways. Since 2018, I’ve supported youth and adults facing stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, understand the root causes of your struggles, and begin building a more peaceful, balanced life.

My Background and Training

I hold both a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Psychology from the University of Windsor. Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my skills through specialized training in evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

This training allows me to adapt sessions to your unique needs, whether you’re looking for trauma-focused therapy, support with anxiety and mood disorders, or strategies for navigating stress and transitions.

Who I Work With

I provide therapy for youth (16+) and adults who are navigating:

  • Mood and anxiety disorders
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Trauma and stress-related challenges
  • Emotion regulation and stress management
  • Relationship or interpersonal difficulties
  • Life transitions and personal growth

Whether you’re struggling with the weight of past experiences, ongoing stress, or uncertainty about the future, I offer a space for healing, clarity, and growth.

How We’ll Work Together

My therapeutic style blends evidence-based approaches with a client-centered, collaborative process. This means:

  • We’ll explore the challenges you’re facing in a safe, respectful space
  • We’ll set meaningful goals together
  • We’ll use practical strategies to build resilience and coping skills
  • We’ll work on cultivating self-acceptance and clarity of values so you can move toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling

I believe that lasting change comes not just from symptom relief but from understanding and reshaping the patterns that hold us back.

My Philosophy

I believe every person has the capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. Therapy is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you harness your strengths, explore the deeper parts of your story, and create lasting changes that support your overall well-being.

It’s my privilege to walk alongside you as you take steps toward balance, resilience, and connection — both with yourself and with the world around you.

My Experience

For several years, I’ve worked closely with youth and adults in the mental health field, supporting those struggling with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and life stressors. My practice is inclusive and affirming, welcoming clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities.

Services and Client Focus

  • Youth (16+) and adults
  • Therapy available in English, Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian
  • An inclusive, non-judgmental space where all identities and life experiences are respected

A Final Word

Reaching out for therapy is a brave step — and you don’t have to walk this path alone. I am committed to helping you uncover the barriers that may be holding you back and guiding you toward a more balanced, fulfilling, and meaningful life.

Together, we’ll create space for healing, self-discovery, and change — one step at a time.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge the main practice sites we operate under are on or around the Ottawa area and located on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin Anishnaabe territory. We further acknowledge the inherent trauma of colonialism and colonization, especially it’s direct impacts on Indigenous peoples, communities and the land. Our land acknowledgement is one small piece towards reconciliation and honouring Indigenous peoples
