Welcome. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who brings a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental presence to therapy. I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, and patterns such as perfectionism and people-pleasing. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where you can safely explore your inner experiences, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I provide psychotherapy services in Ottawa (Gloucester) and online.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, person-centred, and trauma-informed. I meet clients with care and curiosity, working at a pace that feels respectful and empowering. I strive to be culturally responsive and socially just, attending to the broader social, cultural, and systemic contexts that shape each person’s lived experience.
I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), integrating mindfulness and body-based awareness when appropriate. Throughout our work together, I emphasize safety, attunement, and collaboration, supporting you in developing insight, emotional regulation, and practical skills that foster resilience and meaningful change.
Experience & Perspective
I bring over 25 years of experience as a classroom teacher, which deeply informs how I show up as a therapist. This background has shaped my ability to attune to others, hold space with patience and care, and support emotional and relational development across different life stages.
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Acadia University, as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. In addition, I have training in Yoga Teacher Training, Mindfulness Coaching, and Breathwork Facilitation, which supports a holistic, mind–body perspective in my work.

Working Together
I believe that healing happens through awareness, self-compassion, and being met within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. When people are given space to be seen and heard without judgment, they can begin to make sense of their experiences and reconnect with their inherent strengths and potential.
I am committed to walking alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges with care and compassion.
