Teen & Adult Therapy in Ottawa

Hi! I’m Katie, and I’m really glad you’re here. I provide teen and adult therapy in Ottawa and virtual therapy across Ontario for individuals navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, intrusive thoughts, stress, low mood, and relationship challenges. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so my goal is to help the process feel supportive, approachable, and grounded in trust.

I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels meaningful while also building on your existing strengths. Additionally, I recognize that opening up can feel difficult at first, especially if therapy is new to you. Because of this, I aim to meet clients with warmth, curiosity, and patience.

Education & Clinical Background

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health. Through my clinical training and experience, I support adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, interpersonal difficulties, stress, intrusive thoughts, and low mood.

My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – CAMH, DBT, ACT, and EFT. I integrate both emotional exploration and practical coping tools to help clients better understand themselves while developing healthier ways to manage difficult moments, improve communication, and feel more confident in daily life.

A Supportive & Collaborative Therapy Space

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centred, and emotionally supportive. I value creating a space that feels engaging, non-judgmental, and safe for self-exploration. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions, I aim to walk alongside you with compassion, perspective, and practical support.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, support is available.
