A Supportive Space for Change

Hi, I’m Andy. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, you’re not alone. I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you and work toward meaningful change.

Therapy for Children, Teens & Adults

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I provide mental health therapy in Kanata and Gloucester for children, teens, and adults. I also offer virtual therapy across Ontario. I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional regulation challenges, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.

Andy’s Background & Experience

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working in leadership, coaching, mentorship, social services, and community recreation. During that time, I supported people facing addiction, trauma, family stress, and financial challenges. These experiences helped shape my compassionate and practical approach to therapy.

A Collaborative Therapy Approach

My approach is collaborative, person-centred, and trauma-informed. I use proven therapy approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy. At the same time, I understand that every person’s story is unique. Because of this, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and strengths.

I believe therapy should feel emotionally safe, supportive, and practical. Together, we can build coping tools, improve self-understanding, and create lasting change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Life Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of work, I’m a partner, father, and someone who enjoys life’s simple routines. I enjoy hockey, swimming, gardening, and caring for my backyard chickens. These activities help me stay grounded and connected, both personally and professionally.. Book your consultation now.
