Hi, I’m Taylor. I am a registered social worker and therapist who believes that everyone deserves a space to feel heard, understood, and supported. I take a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, meeting you where you are and working together to navigate life’s challenges at your own pace.
I draw from evidence-informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring my approach to your needs, experiences, and goals. My background includes supporting individuals experiencing trauma, health challenges, addiction, and caregiver burnout. My background in
long-term care and dementia support also helps me to understand the unique transitions, stressors, and life changes that can come with aging. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc), Master of Arts in Psychology (MA), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), and Master of Social Work (MSW), and also enjoy working with students navigating post-secondary life.
I believe that therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. My goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can show up as yourself and focus on what matters to you. Whether you need to slow down to explore your feelings and experiences, or prefer to set and work towards specific goals, I’m here to walk alongside you. In my work, I strive to bring your
strengths, resources, and talents to the forefront of our sessions, creating space for you to feel empowered, supported, and confident in your ability to navigate whatever life brings your way.
