Teen & Adult Therapy in Ottawa
Hi / Bonjour, I’m Prisca. I provide teen and adult therapy in Ottawa and virtual therapy across Ontario for clients navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, identity, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and respected.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, especially when you are carrying stress, uncertainty, or emotional pain on your own. Because of this, I work collaboratively with clients to help them explore their experiences, strengthen coping tools, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.
Bilingual Mental Health Support in Ottawa & Online
As a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) I provide teen and adult therapy in Ottawa, as well as virtual therapy across Ontario. I support clients experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, identity exploration, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and cultural or racial stressors.
In addition, I work with teens (12+) and adults navigating academic pressure, social challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. I offer therapy services in both English and French to help clients access care in the language that feels most comfortable and natural to them.
Experience Working with Youth & Diverse Communities
My professional experience includes supporting youth and adolescents within school settings and community-based organizations. Through this work, I have had the opportunity to support individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. As a result, I understand the importance of creating an emotionally safe and culturally responsive therapeutic space.
I value authenticity, self-expression, and collaboration throughout the therapy process. Therefore, I aim to meet each client where they are while recognizing the unique experiences, strengths, and challenges they bring into therapy.
Therapeutic Approaches for Teen & Adult Therapy in Ottawa
My approach is collaborative, person-centred, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I integrate practical therapeutic approaches that help clients build insight, emotional awareness, resilience, and healthier coping strategies over time.
My work is informed by approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Information – CAMH and Narrative Therapy. Additionally, I have completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs while creating a space that feels compassionate, supportive, and collaborative.
A Supportive & Authentic Space
I believe therapy should feel human, relational, and grounded in trust. Whether you are navigating anxiety, identity concerns, emotional stress, or life transitions, I strive to help you feel supported as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, support is available.
